I drank a lot of wine from this producer back 2010 while visiting Argentina. Neither overly oaky or massively extracted, I was told this producer sold most of it’s wine in Argentina. They are launching or re-launching in WA and are throwing out some deals. Retailing for $10 a bottle here($15.99 in CA). On the nose, youthful, medium+ intensity, blackberry, black plum, and fig fruit, moss, mint, grain, with subtle vanilla. On the palate, dry, medium intensity, medium tannins, medium acidity, layered, not overly complex, but descent length to the finish. A good rusticly made new world red that’s good to have a case around in case a party breaks out.
