Ruby color. On the nose, moving to development, medium+ intensity, black currant, cherry, coffee, saddle, sandlewood, basement, very layered, with some oak and some earth. On the palate, dry, medium intensity, medium tannin, medium acidity, very well balanced, good structure, with very nice length to the finish. I wish I had the money to enjoy wine like this regularly.

Ruby color. On the nose, youthful, medium intensity, black currant, leather, earth, tobacco, some spice, some oak, but over-all kind of muted. On the palate, dry, medium intensity, medium tannin, medium acidity, just kind of medium, and it got lost in the sea of other Bordeaux’s.
Purple ruby color. On the nose, youthful, medium+ intensity, black cherry, plum, fig, leather, lots of spice, chalky dusty earth, and some oak. On the palate, dry, medium+intensity, medium tannin, medium acidity, very rich and luscious mouth feel, beautiful fruit, cocoa, with a solid backbone and impressive length on the finish.
Ruby color. On the nose, youthful, medium+ intensity, black cherry, black currant, leather glove, cigar box, loaded with basement-like earthy component, moderate oak, quite complex with a bit of everything. On the palate, dry, medium+ intensity, medium+ tannin, medium+ acidity, extremely well balanced, like this wine glided if not coated every part of the palate with deliciousness, and the finish was polished and pretty. This is always an over-achieving Fifth Growth, and a perfect addition to a cellar.
Could have been the scorn of a couple of bad shifts, but I wasn’t all that thrilled with this one. Browning ruby in color. On the nose, developed, medium intensity, earth, leather, plum, cardamom, pencil shavings, basement, some oak, and obvious earth. On the palate, dry, medium- intensity, medium body, medium acidity, medium- tannin, balanced wine with a moderate finish. I was left asking what this wine was like a decade ago when it was in it’s sweet spot. Just kind of boring for the $500 price tag.
A table brought this in and left me a nice sized glass. Impressive quality that jumped out of the glass. Dark black ruby color. On the nose, developed, medium+ intensity, earth and spice driven, black currant, black cherry, cigar box, basement, pencil shavings, cardamom, clove, overt earth with some well integrated oak. Classic Bordeaux with depth and the kind nose that makes you wish every wine you tried was this good. On the palate, dry, still very structured, medium+ tannin, medium acidity, seamless dark fruit, loaded with spices, tobacco, stemmy vegetal element, with a long flavorful finish.
