I was gifted a small taste of this wine and it crushed me and left me with a taste of fooloshness for not having anything of this wine in my cellar. Ruby color. On the nose, developed, medium+ intensity, black currant, leather, cigar box, clove, cardamom, chalky dusty component, some oak, and slight earth. On the palate, dry, medium intensity, medium tannin, medium acidity, beautifully seamless and pretty spices, with an amazing finish. This wine was probably peanuts when it was purchased, and comparatively speaking you still get a lot of bang for your dollar from this winery.
