2009 Lo Tengo Torrontes Mendoza

Platinum color. On the nose, youthful, medium intensity, peaches, mango, grapefruit, with lots of white flowers, slight mineral, with no oak to speak to. On the palate, dry, medium intensity, medium acidity, flowery fruit cocktail, with a solid finish. Not overly complex, but there’s no denying the umami of this wine.

2008 Finca Domingo Torrontes

Platinum color. On the nose, youthful, medium intensity, loaded with white flowers, peach, apricot, nectarine, tropical, grassy, mineral, no oak, with subtle earth. On the palate, dry, medium intensity, medium- acidity, bright stone fruit, with immense white rose, and lilac, with good balance, and a moderate finish. Platinum with yellow-green. On the nose, youthful, melon, grapefruit, lemon, lots of flowers, roses specifically, slight mineral, no oak, lots of perfume. On the palate, dry, medium acidity, very pretty fruit and flower combo, with richness and weight, and moderate length to the finish.
