2005 De Tarczal Cabernet Franc Trentino Italy

I revisited this wine tonight that I bought last year at a tasting that was an order and have it imported kind of adventure. I might have the only 7 bottles left in the state, and am content consuming all if it. On the nose, youthful, medium intensity, chalky earth, pencil shavings, veggies, cherries, pomegranate, spice, not very detectable oak, and overt old world earth. On the palate, dry, medium intensity, nice balance, cherry and raspberry, earth, chalk, brussel sprouts component, medium- tannin, medium acidity, medium alcohol, nice finish lingering clove. Very easy drinking after some aeration.

2005 De Tarczal Cabernet Franc Trentino

I tasted this a few months back and ordered a case. I thought a few people would like this really vegetal wine that becomes fruity as it evolves. On the nose, youthful, medium+ intensity, cherry cordial, chalky soil, cabbage, haggas, stemmy pencil shavings, compost, no oak, but enough fruit behind it to keep all the veggies in check. On the palate, dry, dirty, veggie, cherry, structured but not too tannic, good acidity, and a long spicy finish. Hope you can find this, I have five bottles left.
