Retails for $35. 100% Syrah from this North Rhone Village. It showed really well blind. Althoug, I said it was a Grenache based blend from the Southern Rhone. Ruby in color, of medium intensity. On the nose, aroma, strawberry, cherry, hay, spice, dried herbs, white pepper, earth, some French Oak, but well integrated. Pretty complex nose. On the palate, dry, medium+ intensity, cherry, strawberry, red licorice, minty medicinal herbs, leather, earth, and oak. Medium acidity, medium tannin, and a nice finish. I want more of this one
