2006 Louis Jadot Puligny-Montrechet Les Folatieres

Golden blonde color. On the nose, youthful, medium intensity, apple, pear, loaded with mineral, lots of stone, with butterscotch, spices, layered, with lots of oak and earth too. On the palate, dry, medium+ body, medium intensity, medium acidity, I’d call this one a delicious candy bar, layered with mineral, and a whole lot more complex than your average California Chardonnay.

I thought this was the most intriguing wine of the tasting, and offered more mystery than than the rest.
