Bottling
We bottled our 08 Syrah/Cabernet Sauvignon blend. What an amazing feeling, it’s tasty, bottled, and now awaits a label, and a philosophy, and about six months in bottle to chill out.
Blending
The infinite number of possibilities of flavors. Here I am doing some sample blending to decide the final product of part our un-named wine project. I am sampling 8 different barrel treatment to some 2008 Dubrul Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. It was amazing how each changed our Syrah. At the end of the day, faced with many good to great options, the one that spoke to me most was American Oak, and it really nails it.
Bottling Day
