2006 Scott Paul Pinot Noir La Paulée Willamette Valley

First wine of many Pinot Noir the other night, and this on was the top dog. Bright ruby color. On the nose, youthful, medium+ intensity, strawberry, cherry, raspberry, red licorice, lavender, clove, nutmeg, almost creamy, with no earth, and subtle oak. On the palate, dry, medium intensity, medium tannin, bright acidity, harmonious balance, pretty fruit, sexy spices, and a silkiness that really made me stand back and contemplate how great this Pinot was. Now I want more.
