2006 Rockwell Brown Red Mountain

Dark purple to ruby in color. On the nose, youthful, medium+ intensity, black cherry, black raspberry, black currant, leather, spice for days and days, moderate oak, not earthy, and some of the most opulent fruit and spice I’ve seen from WA state. On the palate, dry, medium+ intensity, medium tannin, medium acidity, explosive plum, cherry, and violet. Chocolate, leather, and a spice filled finish. I liked this wine and the power behind it, not sure I was happy with the price point, but the quality is there.
