2007 Gramercy Cellars Grenache Columbia Valley

Redish ruby color. On the nose, youthful, strawberry, raspberry, red cherry, white pepper, lots of flowers, dried herbs, not earthy, and subtly oaked. On the palate, dry, medium- body, bright red fruit, medium- tannin, medium acidity, very pretty, lots of licorice, with a moderate length to the finish. I enjoyed this wine, it is delicious and intriguing, and a little bit “underground”, I was only disappointed in the price, charging more money than 20-30 years veteran wine-makers is just foolish.
