2004 Venta Mazzaron Tempranillo

This is a great representation of New World production and labeling in the Old World. Seeing as the dollar is tanking, how do they produce this good wine and ship it over here at this cost. Check out all the positive reviews of this wine on Cellartracker.com.
On the nose, youthful, med+ intensity, figs, plums, cherries, peppered bacon, leather, there’s some oak, and some earthy dirt component. On the palate, dry, med+ to high tannins, massively structured, has the muscle to stand up to wild dark meats, with good juicy fruit, leather, and tobacco. This will cellar quite well, and at this price you just don’t find too much of that.
