Right off the bat this wine wreaked of smoke, and I mean forest fire
smoke. Tucked behind the smoke were cherries and strawberries. Really
silky mouthfeel, just elegance, not power. Then in less than five
minutes the wine started to evolve. Autumn leaves and cooking spices,
nutmeg and cinnamon started showing through. Pretty steep price tag but
you will love it if you choose to purchase it, and love it even more if
someone else opens it.
